In a notable convergence of finance and culture, The Access Bank UK Ltd has sponsored The Duke’s Cultural Economic Summit 2024. This prestigious event took place on the 18th of May, at the Pullman Hotel, London, and was aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration at the intersection of economic policy, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. The Bank was represented at the summit by Jamie Simmonds, CEO/ MD and Johnson Ememandu, Head of Commercial Banking, both of The Access Bank UK Ltd.

One of the highlights of the summit was Jamie Simmonds’ presentation on ‘Expanding the Reach of the Nigerian Banking Sector’, that featured strategies for increasing financial inclusion and fostering economic development.
After a day filled with engaging discussions and insightful presentations, guests were treated to a remarkable cultural experience at the Shaw Theatre. The evening featured a special performance by AWO, showcasing their acclaimed production, “The Man, His Jewel, and…” This artistic event provided a perfect finale to a summit dedicated to exploring the intersection of economic policies and cultural initiatives.
