The Lord Mayor’s Appeal – City Giving Day 2015

The Access Bank UK is very proud to have supported this year’s Lord Mayor’s Appeal as a part of our ongoing commitment and focus on personal and corporate social responsibility. Johnson Ememandu, Head of Commercial Banking at The Access Bank UK attended the City Giving Day Thank you reception at Bank of China on the 23rd October 2015 to meet with other participants and explain how The Access Bank UK is working to support the Group’s commitment to community initiatives which include ‘Women and Girl-child Empowerment’ and ‘Children with Special Abilities’ projects. Alongside this work, Access Bank Group continues its commitment to a variety of other community initiatives, such as school renovation and adoption projects that improved the quality of education and impacted the lives of over 1000 pupils.

For many decades the annual Lord Mayor’s Appeal of the City of London has raised millions of pounds for charities and good causes recommended by successive Lord Mayors. The charitable theme for the Appeal is creating wealth, giving time and supporting people. This year, the Lord Mayors Appeal also recognises the huge contribution to the life of the City made by the arts and the schools that nurture its brightest artistic talents.
