The International Finance judging panel stated in their report “The Access Bank UK is one of the leading trade services banks assisting companies to make investments in MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asian markets. There are several factors that have led to The Access Bank UK retaining the top spot as a major trade finance lender such as its sustained growth through last year on the back of a 15% growth in trade finance income to £19.8m. The Bank’s continued collaboration with third party banks and sound knowledge of the local market needs have helped it stay ahead of its competitors. Last year was a particularly profitable one for the bank’s Sub Saharan African business, and shows great promise for 2018-19 as well.”
