In recognition of World Mental Health Day, The Access Bank UK Ltd hosted a special Bring & Share celebration – a simple but meaningful way to connect, share food, and appreciate the wonderful diversity that makes our workplace special. From London and Northwich to Paris, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Malta, colleagues across our international offices joined in, filling the day with conversation, laughter, and flavours from around the world to strengthen the bonds that make our culture so unique.
World Mental Health Day, celebrated on 10th October, serves as a reminder of the importance of prioritising wellbeing — both individually and collectively. Mental health is central to overall health, productivity, and fulfilment, and fostering an environment where people feel safe, supported, and connected is essential for both personal and professional growth.
This celebration reflected some of the Bank’s core values, particularly our commitment to empowering employees and demonstrating leadership in building a healthy workplace culture. By creating a space where colleagues could openly connect and look after their well-being, the Bank reinforced the importance of supporting one another not only in professional achievements, but also on a personal level. The initiative also aligned with our passion for customers – recognising that when our people feel healthy, valued and motivated, they are best equipped to deliver excellence in service.
Events like our Bring & Share celebration reflect our belief that wellness extends beyond the workplace — it is strengthened through relationships, compassion, and understanding. We are proud to honour this important day with a tradition that brings us closer together and highlights the rich cultural diversity within our global team.
Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed. Together, we continue to build a workplace where wellbeing matters, and where every voice and culture is embraced.
