The Access Bank UK is proud to support this year’s Lord Mayor’s Appeal through the City Giving Day initiative which forms part of The Access Bank UK’s corporate social responsibility activities.
On Tuesday 4th September 2018, Johnson Ememandu, Head of Commercial Banking at the Access Bank UK joined other participants at the City Giving Day 2018 Countdown Breakfast at The Mansion House to hear from the Lord Mayor’s Appeal team about their plans for City Giving Day which is on 25th September 2018.
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal aims to support three charity partners; Samaritans, OnSide Youth Zones and Place2Be, who will be delivering ground breaking programmes that can help change people’s lives and help create A Better City for All.
City Giving Day provides small businesses, large corporations, charities with a chance to engage with their employees, recruit volunteers, to have fun, raise money and showcase their charity partners/charitable giving.
The work and success of hundreds of charities and communities that the City supports we will be celebrated on City Giving Day 2018.
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal aims to have a transformational impact on people’s lives by bringing together businesses, neighbouring communities, employees and charities to find solutions to some of London’s most pressing societal issues.
Over £400,000 was raised for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, charities and community groups in 2017.
