The Access Bank UK Ltd Attends the Lady Mayor’s Impact Reception at Mansion House

The Access Bank UK Ltd was honoured to attend the prestigious Impact Reception, hosted by Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley DBE, the newly elected Lady Mayor of London, at Mansion House. Dame Susan Langley is the 697th Lord Mayor of London, becoming only the third woman in the City of London Corporation’s history to hold this ancient office—and the first to take the title of Lady Mayor.

Representing the Bank was Adaeze Kingsley-Anyanwu, Senior Relationship Manager, who joined fellow City professionals and corporate partners in celebrating the achievements of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and recognising the leadership of the new Lady Mayor as she begins her term.

The evening highlighted the significant success achieved by The Lord Mayor’s Appeal over the past year. A key focus of the night was the impact made through support for its charity partners, including MQ Mental Health Research, which advances vital scientific understanding and solutions in mental health, and Homewards, an initiative by The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales that aims to end homelessness through long-term, system-changing action. The reception showcased how sustained collaboration between the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, businesses, and individuals is driving meaningful progress for these causes.

Guests also heard from those actively supporting The Appeal, gaining valuable insight into how its initiatives are creating tangible improvements across mental health, social inclusion, and community wellbeing. Attendees further explored opportunities for City workers and organisations to get involved in the mission of “A Better City for All.”

The Access Bank UK Ltd remains committed to supporting initiatives that drive social progress, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for all. The Bank looks forward to continued engagement with The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and contributing to its vital work across the City.
