On February 25 th 2025, The Access Bank UK Limited was presented with Best Africa Trade Finance Bank 2025 trophy by Capital Finance International (CFI.co), celebrating a remarkable 10th consecutive year of recognition for its outstanding contribution to trade finance in Africa.

The presentation ceremony was held at the Bank’s head office, located in the heart of the City of London, marking a momentous occasion that highlighted a decade-long legacy of excellence, innovation, and dedication to facilitating trade across the African continent. 

During the ceremony, the CFI.co team, led by Publisher Anthony Michael, presented the commemorative trophy to the Bank in recognition of its consistent performance and impact in the sector. The award symbolises not only a year of success, but a decade of leadership in providing trusted and effective trade finance solutions. Jamie Simmonds, CEO/MD of The Access Bank UK Limited, and Wasiu Fatai, Head of Trade Finance, accepted the award on behalf of the Bank and the Trade Finance team, acknowledging the collective effort and dedication that has contributed to the Bank’s continued success in this sector.
