Derek Ross has 42 years' experience in banking, corporate treasury and finance. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Management Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He is a retired Partner of Deloitte London, where he was responsible for the Capital Markets and Risk practice and where his clients included most of the major banks and over a quarter of the Top 100 companies. He has served on the Boards of Nationwide Building Society and Friends Life, and is currently on the Boards, and Chairs the Audit Committees of GE Capital Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe and Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation. Derek is Chairman of the Risk and Audit Committee of The Access Bank UK Limited.
